Ingredients

Scale

Base Mixture

  • 4 Tbsp butter, plus extra to butter the pan
  • 1 1/2 bags mini marshmallows (15 oz bags)
  • 6 cups Lucky Charms Cereal

Topping

  • 1 bag white chocolate chips (12 oz)
  • 4 drops green food coloring

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Use a paper towel to butter the bottom of a 9×13-inch pan with extra butter to prevent sticking.
  2. Melt Butter and Marshmallows: Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a large microwave-safe bowl. Pour the mini marshmallows over the melted butter and mix to coat them evenly. Microwave the mixture for 30 seconds, stir, then microwave for an additional 30 seconds and stir again until the marshmallows are fully melted and smooth.
  3. Add Cereal: Gradually pour the Lucky Charms cereal into the melted marshmallow mixture, mixing well to coat all the cereal evenly.
  4. Press into Pan: Transfer the marshmallow and cereal mixture into the greased 9×13-inch pan. Wet your hands with water to prevent sticking and press the mixture evenly into the pan. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour to allow the treats to set.
  5. Cut the Treats: Once chilled and firm, cut the treats into 20 to 24 squares. Place the cut treats upside down on wax paper in preparation for the chocolate coating.
  6. Melt and Color White Chocolate: Melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave for 45 seconds, stir, then heat for another 45 seconds and stir again until smooth. Add 4 drops of green food coloring to the melted chocolate and stir until fully combined.
  7. Dip Treats in Chocolate: Dip the bottom of each treat into the green-colored white chocolate. Place the treats upside down on the wax paper again to allow the chocolate to cool and harden.
  8. Serve: Once the chocolate is set, serve and enjoy these festive Lucky Charms Treats!

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of green food coloring to achieve your desired shade of green chocolate.
  • Use wet hands when pressing the mixture into the pan to prevent sticking.
  • White chocolate can seize if overheated; melt gently and stir thoroughly.
  • Store leftover treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or refrigerate for longer freshness.
